Why it exists

You’ve probably seen articles about stretching annual leave around bank holidays. They usually give one plan for one allowance. This site works it out for your allowance and part of the UK, then shows your breaks month by month.

The method is explained on how the planner works.

How the site is paid for

The planner is free. When you use a trip button (flights, hotels, package holidays or UK breaks), we may earn a commission from the travel site, at no extra cost to you. The buttons go to Skyscanner, Booking.com, TUI, and Hoseasons or Sykes Cottages for UK breaks. Those links never change which annual leave dates the planner suggests. Weekend ideas are separate from your leave plan.

What we record

We use Rybbit for privacy-friendly visitor statistics. When you use a trip button, we record that it was used, the dates of the break, your region and the type of break, so we know which plans are useful. That record doesn’t include your name, email address or IP address. Like most websites, our server also keeps short-term access logs, and we don’t use advertising cookies.
